One-Day Home Makeover

and yet you love the things that you have?

do this? THINK AGAIN!
We teach a 5 Day Professional Accredited Redesign & Home Staging course. There are two classroom teaching days and three "real client's homes" where we do the hands-on of what has been taught in class.
As part of the practicum, we need 'real client's homes just like yours to become part of our program. These are called "TRAINING HOMES".
To Qualify:
To be a 'Qualified Training Home' you must meet the following criteria:
Your home needs to be more than 1500 square feet and have 3 different rooms that we can work in for the day
You need enough of your own furniture that we can rearrange it to create better traffic flow and more balance + harmony in your rooms. We do not bring in furniture for you
Your art, your collections and your treasures will be beautifully displayed and showcased to reflect your personal style in your home for Redesign. For a Staging training home we will delete many of your personal treasure for you to pack up, and we will create the 'right look' for your target market using your things.
You must be 'open' to having up to 6 students in your home for the day – we arrive at 9 am and finish up between 4 & 5 pm
Thank you so much for the make-over you recently performed on my home. The removal of so much clutter makes the rooms feel and appear much roomier and free-flowing. I like the fact that my favourite pieces were displayed and look great. The grouping of my wife's art works is much more appealing and more tidy. My family and friends who have seen the make-over are impressed and agree totally that my made-over home is a great improvement! I commend you and your team for an outstanding job.

The Process:
We will come out and do a one hour consultation with you to understand how you like to live, if selling we advise you of the right look.

During that time we let you know what 'homework' you have if any before we come back and do the actual hands on home makeover
The day of the home makeover we bring in up to 6 students and we typically do 3 rooms - living, family, dining and/or entranceway
When you return at the end of the day and you get to act just like they do on television when we do 'the Reveal' of your new look!
We do homes in the Lower Mainland from the North Shore to Langley area. We do not do Richmond or Tsawassen.

Clearly, this whole house project was not to be done in a day, but a lot did happen in that one day, when Sun On My Back arrived! I am convinced that the rearrangement of what I already had (without re-decorating) would have brought immediate dollars for resale. The targeted areas that the team tackled immediately are and appear so much more spacious, functional and attractive. I would highly recommend this service for anyone who is re-selling, re-decorating or who may be thinking of doing so down the road.

Dana and her students had done a fabulous home makeover for us last year and now we were moving upstairs into a larger space. I just knew it would save me so much time, money and energy to have her students back to move us in. Well you would think I wouldn't be surprised again but yes I was! The furniture set up is just great and my son's play room was something we didn't even think of. He loves it and shows it to everyone who comes in! My mother-in-law says the art always looks fantastic because of the way you group things. The family photo wall is really expanding and is ready for some new baby photos. I love the new look and now I get to enjoy it after being in our new home for only a few days. Awesome - I can't recommend being a training home enough!
